Indonesia lost from Tailand

Comparison of sales figures and production motorcycles between Indonesia and Thailand sunggung interesting.

With a population 4 times as much, two-wheeler market homeland able to sell at least 8 million units / year while in the land of white elephants "only" about 2.5 million units were sold motorcycles every two semesters.

But behind it there is a very sad thing, that our country "only" be a place of selling by APM Motorcycle.

From the data released om edo, the number of Indonesian exports during 2011 some 28 thousand units, each of which is contributed by Yamaha, TVS, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Honda and of course (APM name order as the sum of exports from least-most). Meanwhile, import value-including Bajaj and Piagio non AISI-touch number 60 thousand.

When compared with its value really jomplang thailand, thailand during the same period are capable of producing two-wheelers as many as 4 million units (nearly twice the sales in their country) so that nearly half their production is exported to overseas, while the percentage of exports of motorcycle manufacturers Indonesia only 0.38% of the total production. : (

If so who benefits / who is harmed?
